Theresa’s Sound World Music Blog Collection Some very powerful ambient tones in this one. Reminiscent at times of 70s Brian Eno & also Vangelis. I especially like track I, reminds me of the synth driven sci-fi tv themes from the 70s & 80s, like The Tripods! II has a bit of a shoegaze but-done-electronically thing going on, which is very effective & memorable. III is like a theme for a imaginary Twin Peaks style epic, almost a bit 4adish/Cocteau Twins-like. IV starts like a mellow Born Slippy, before going full on futuristic. Great Stuff! Favorite track: Mountains and Waters.

about

"The only times that exist are past and future; the present doesn’t really exist; it’s only the border between past and future. But this is strange because the present is also the only reality; the past is already gone and the future is not yet come. This present moment is really nothing. But this nothing is the only reality and includes all time!"
- Shohaku Okamura, The Mountains and Waters Sūtra.
